Italian Courtyard Garden
part of the winning entry on
ITV's "May The Best House Win" |
 |
|
We are very proud to announce that our Italianate
Garden in Wrotham, Kent was part of the winning property featured on
ITV's 'May The Best House Win'.
The winning house, owned by Vinehouse Interiors beat three others in
a competition to find the most desirable property.
Described by one of the cotestants as 'absolutely stunning', our
garden was part of the winning entry, along with the interior of the
house designed and finished by Vinehouse Interiors.

Designer of the garden, Adam Bailey
said, "When we were approached by Maggie Smith of Vinehouse
Interiors we knew the garden had wonderful potential due to the
original high walls surorunding it, making it perfect for a
courtyard style garden."
Working closely with Maggie, like Adam does with all his clients,
the garden soon took shape and Adam contrasted the warm brickwork
colours with a cool mix of lush planting, focusing on blues,
whites, silvers and purples.
"You don't have to have every colour under the sun to create a very
chic look", said Adam. "It's all about creating atmosphere and a
place you want to lose yourself in. This garden is a careful blend
of classical and modern elements, an echo of the interior of the
house"
"We were very excited when it was shown on ITV as part of the
winning house !"

No two gardens are ever the same and this garden
perfectly shows what can happen when a client and a designer work
together to create a work of art that really is an extension of the
house in every way.
