Brief
A long
garden in Beckenham, Kent required a variable planting style to take
account of the woodland aspect to the far end and a hot, colourful riot of
flowers and foliage towards the patio.
Borders
benefited from being deep, allowing for a succession of perennials and
shrubs to perform without being restricted. Subtle lighting hidden
amongst the planting provides a relaxing space from morning till night.
Not all
gardens have to contain a large amount of hard landscaping and this garden
shows what can be achieved when the planting is given priority.
